We are sorry to share the sad news that Professor Puangrat Yongvanit has recently passed. Puangrat will be an immense loss to the global CCA community.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Professor Puangrat’s passing.  I had enormous respect for Puangrat professionally but, far more than that, over the years of our various meetings as we developed closer links, my admiration for her grew as I learned how truly dedicated to the CCA cause she was.  Puangrat always showed enormous generosity of spirit, and she remained dedicated to her work over the last years, which must have been so difficult for her.  She was a truly exceptional human being..

Professor Puangrat will be missed by all who knew her, all the CASCAP team, the Thai CCA Foundation – an organisation that was so close to Puangrat’s heart – all the KKU team, and her many international friends and colleagues.  Indeed, Puangrat will be an immense loss to the global CCA community.
