On February 16, 2023, we want the world to come together to Pledge for CCA!
From 2023, World Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) Day will be recognised on the third Thursday of each February. World CCA Day is an international effort to raise much-needed awareness of CCA, a devastating cancer that occurs in the bile ducts in or outside the liver. This poorly understood and under researched disease is increasing in incidence globally - we believe collaboration is the way forward.
World CCA Day was previously held on February 12, however from 2023 the awareness day will take place on the third Thursday of each February (February 16, 2023). To ensure everyone can take part in raising awareness of CCA in 2023, we will also be recognising World CCA Week from February 12 – February 18.
